It's Christmas day! And Deadpool is after someone on his "naaaughty list." And it's a pretty safe bet to assume that he's going to turn one of the most festive days of the year into one of the bloodiest.

Check out a brand-new red-band trailer for "Deadpool," the upcoming action film that's described as a "different kind of superhero story." Ryan Reynolds stars as wisecracking Wade Wilson, a cancer-stricken mercenary who, through a radical experiment, is mutated into a fast-healing masked antihero, known as "Deadpool."

The film, which also stars Gotham's Morena Baccarin, The Transporter Refueled's Ed Skrein, former MMA fighter-turned-action star Gina Carano and Silicon Valley's T.J. Miller, is a rare R-rated, profanity-filled adaptation of a Marvel comic book series.

The upcoming movie will also feature two mutant characters from the books: the famed Russian X-man Colossus (played by Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (newcomer Brianna Hildebrand).

Visual FX artist Tim Miller, who co-founded the award-winning computer-effects company Blur Studio, makes his feature directorial debut from a script by "Zombieland" screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

"Deadpool" is hitting theaters February 12th, just in time for Valentine's Day.
