It's the British equivalent of the underdog sports tale "Rudy." It also has the light comedic touches of "Cool Runnings." And it also has Wolverine, or rather Hugh Jackman playing a washed-up ski-jumping hero turned unconventional Olympic coach. Now, who wouldn't want to see that!

Check out the brand-new U.S. trailer for the feel-good British drama "Eddie the Eagle," in which a bespectacled Taron Egerton (star of "Kingsman: The Secret Service") plays Michael "Eddie" Edwards, a real-life British ski-jumper who beat seemingly insurmountable odds to compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics and became a national hero in the process.

Produced by "Kingsman" and "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn and directed by actor-turned-helmer Dexter Fletcher, "Eddie the Eagle" also stars Christopher Walken, Jo Hartley, and Tim McInnerny. It's due to open in the U.S. on February 26.
