"For a decade, we've been doing what some might call, 'mad' ... what some might call, 'magic.' We call it, LAIKA," says animator, director and Laika's current president Travis Knight in the newly released video that celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the successful stop-motion animation studio.

Over the past decade, the company has been behind some of the most acclaimed animated films in recent years: "Coraline," "ParaNorman," and "The Boxtrolls." And despite practicing the old traditional technique of stop-motion animation, Laika has remained freshly original in their storytelling. No one will confuse a Laika production with another animation studio, that's for sure.

As Laika gears up for their next film project, 2016's Japanese-inspired adventure epic "Kubo and the Two Strings" (out on August 19), why not take a nostalgic look back at the studio's amazing ten-year history. Watch the video, above.
