Here's the first international trailer for the inspirational sports drama "Eddie the Eagle," which sees "Kingsman: The Secret Service" star Taron Egerton as Michael Edwards (better known as Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards), Britain's first ever Olympic ski-jumper, who, in the late '80s, became a national hero as he fearlessly fought to compete in the 1988 Calgary Winter Games.

Hugh Jackman co-stars as Eddie's Olympic coach, while Christopher Walken, Jo Hartley, Tim McInnerny, Rune Temte, Edvin Endre, and Jim Broadbent round out the cast.

British character actor Dexter Fletcher (a.k.a "Soap" from "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels") makes his third feature effort as a director.

Produced by Matthew Vaughn, "Eddie the Eagle" will be arriving in U.S. theaters on February 26, 2016.

Eddie the Eagle follows the realization of the childhood dream of Michael Edwards -- a.k.a Eddie -- (played by Taron Egerton) and his unflinching determination to become Great Britain's first Olympic ski-jumper. Reluctantly aided by former ski-jumper Bronson Peary (Hugh Jackman) as his coach, Eddie is unwavering in his quest to reach the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. Eddie the Eagle is an uplifting, inspirational story that celebrates human spirit, passion, and one man’s refusal to accept defeat.
