HBO's Game of Thrones: Season 6 — Teaser

HBO has released a 40-second teaser for "Game of Thrones: Season 6," which doesn't provide any new footage, but does reveal a new voice-over dialogue (possibly by Max Von Sydow, who's been cast to play the "Three-eyed Raven"): "We watched. We listened. And we remembered. The past is already written. The ink is dry."

And while his fate may have been sealed at the final moments of season five, the clip seems to suggest that we haven't seen the last of Jon Snow (Kit Harington). Perhaps, in his case, the ink is still wet.

"Game of Thrones: Season 6" is currently scheduled to premiere next year in April on HBO.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'

starring   Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Iain Glen, Gwendoline Christie
