Sisters — Featurette: 'The Farce Awakens'

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have a new film coming out this month. Sadly, it's opening on the same weekend as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which many expect will be the biggest movie of all time.

You would think Fey and Poehler would be bummed about it. But, in fact, they're having some fun with it as they both sport a fake British accent in this new hilarious preview, which has been made up to mock the unfortunate December 18th release date of their new comedy "Sisters."

Though not as technically challenging or special effects heavy as the preview would lead you to believe, "Sisters" is, nevertheless, a comedy about two sisters (Fey and Poehler) who decide to throw a wild party at their childhood home. Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz and WWE superstar John Cena co-star.

The film, directed by Pitch Perfect's Jason Moore, was written by Fey and Poehler's fellow SNL writer Paula Pell, who also co-created and co-stars in her own popular webseries "Hudson Valley Ballers."

"Sisters" opens a week before Christmas, and Tina Fey wants everyone to know that "hashtag, you can see them both, you can see them both!"

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunite for SISTERS, a new film from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore about two disconnected sisters summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.
