Go "Behind The Wall" of USA Network's new sci-fi series "Colony," starring Josh Holloway, of "Lost" fame, and Sarah Wayne Callies, from "The Walking Dead." The network has released this 20-minute making-of special, which offers a detailed look at the dystopian drama that hails from "Lost" co-creator and FX's "The Strain" executive producer Carlton Cuse.

The series is set in a near future where the city of Los Angeles has been walled off by an oppressive organization led by a mysterious alien regime. Holloway plays a blue-collar family man who breaks the law when he attempts to find his son who has been missing behind the wall for several years. Now caught, Holloway is offered a dubious assignment in exchange for the release of his son. The job, however, will put him in a position where he will be forced to go against his principles, placing the rest of his family in danger.

Directed by Oscar-winning Argentinian helmer Juan Jose Campanella ("The Secret in Their Eyes"), "Colony" also co-stars Kathy Baker ("Picket Fences"), Peter Jacobson ("House"), Paul Guilfoyle ("CSI"), Amanda Righetti ("The Mentalist"), Tory Kittles ("True Detective"), and Carl 'Apollo Creed' Weathers ("Predator").

"Colony" is set to premiere on Thursday, January 14, 2016 on the USA Network.

Set in the very near future, COLONY centers on one family’s struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles. Josh Holloway stars as former FBI agent Will Bowman and Sarah Wayne Callies stars as his wife, Katie, in the series which takes place in a dangerous world of divided ideologies. While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel and suffer the consequences. After being separated from their son during the invasion, Will and Katie are willing to do whatever is necessary to be reunited with him. Thus, when the powerful Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson) offers Will a chance to get his son back if he will collaborate with the occupational government, Will and Katie find themselves faced with the toughest decision of their lives. They will have to go beyond whatever they thought possible, risking their lives and their relationship to protect their family.
