The Gods must be crazy. "Game of Thrones" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau gets into a pissing match with Gerard Butler in the first trailer for the CG-driven action-adventure film "Gods of Egypt."

Loosely inspired by Egyptian mythology, the upcoming 3D movie sees Coster-Waldau as the mighty god "Horus" who -- after losing his kingship (and his eyes) to his rival, "Set" (Butler), the merciless god of darkness -- is forced to team up with a young mortal man, "Bek" (Maleficent's Brenton Thwaites), as they embark on an epic journey to reclaim the throne and restore order to the world.

"Gods of Egypt" marks the return of cult genre director Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, and I, Robot), who hasn't directed a film since 2009's Nicolas Cage thriller "Knowing."

Also starring Chadwick Boseman, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton, Abbey Lee, Rufus Sewell, Geoffrey Rush and Bruce Spence, "Gods of Egypt" is set to open in theaters on February 26th.

In this spectacular action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt, the survival of mankind hangs in the balance as an unexpected mortal hero Bek (Brenton Thwaites) undertakes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love. In order to succeed, he must enlist the help of the powerful god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in an unlikely alliance against Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, who has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. As their breathtaking battle against Set and his henchmen takes them into the afterlife and across the heavens, both god and mortal must pass tests of courage and sacrifice if they hope to prevail in the epic final confrontation.
