TNT's Agent X — 12-minute Preview Clip

added: Sat, Oct 10th '15

TNT has released a 12-minute preview clip from their forthcoming spy series "Agent X," starring Sharon Stone (in her first major TV gig since starring in Steven Bochco's short-lived '80s series "Bay City Blues") as America's first female vice president who, upon taking office, learns she secretly commands an unidentified (James Bond-like) super agent, played by former "Chicago Fire" star Jeff Hephner.

W. Blake Herron, who co-wrote "The Bourne Identity," created the over-the-top action series, which also stars veteran TV actor Gerald McRaney (House of Cards, Major Dad, Simon & Simon) as the veep's liaison and chief steward, who is one of only a handful of government officials -- a group that doesn't include the U.S. President -- who know the existence of the secret agent.

TNT will kick off the 10-episode series with a two-hour premiere starting Sunday, November 8th.

In times of extreme crisis, when traditional law and government aren't in a position to help, there is an unseen hand that works to protect this country and its citizens from all manner of threats by any means necessary. Hidden from the view of the public -- and even from the President -- there is a top secret agent who is trained and ready to serve, deployed only at the careful discretion of the Vice President. This is Agent X.
