The Night Before — Sneak Peek Promo: 'Runaway'

added: Mon, Oct 5th '15

A new promo for the upcoming Christmas Eve party comedy "The Night Before," starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie, is paying homage to the famous oversized piano scene from the Tom Hanks classic "Big," but adds a modern twist by substituting chopsticks with Kanye West's chart-topper, "Runaway" (a.k.a. the "Let's have a toast for the douchebags" song).

The film, directed by Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, 50/50), follows three childhood friends (Rogen, Gordon-Levitt, and Mackie) as they reunite for one last hurrah in New York City, after agreeing to end their annual Christmas Eve tradition of bar-hopping and heavy drinking.

"The Night Before," which co-stars Jillian Bell, Lizzy Caplan, and Mindy Kaling, opens in theaters on November 20th.

Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen) and Chris (Anthony Mackie) have been friends since childhood, and for a decade, their yearly Christmas Eve reunion has been an annual night of debauchery and hilarity. Now that they’re entering adulthood, the tradition is coming to an end, and to make it as memorable as possible, they set out to find the Nutcracka Ball -- the Holy Grail of Christmas parties.
