TNT's Agent X — Trailer

added: Wed, Sep 30th '15

One of the major responsibilities of a U.S. President is to take on the role of Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The Vice President, on the other hand, is a position in the Executive Branch that has no military authority -- well, that's what they want you to believe anyway.

In the upcoming TNT action series "Agent X," Sharon Stone makes her way to the small screen as U.S. Vice President Natalie Maccabee who, shortly after taking office, is let in on a long-held government secret that the President doesn't even know: the Veep oversees a highly classified, James Bond-like super agent (played by "Chicago Fire" actor Jeff Hephner) who is regularly deployed around the world to combat the biggest threats to national security.

Created by "The Bourne Identity" co-scribe W. Blake Herron, "Agent X" also stars Gerald McRaney (House of Cards), Olga Fonda (The Vampire Diaries) and John Shea (Gossip Girl).

The 10-episode series will have a two-hour premiere beginning on Sunday, November 8th on TNT. In the meantime, check out the show's first trailer, above.

In times of extreme crisis, when traditional law and government aren't in a position to help, there is an unseen hand that works to protect this country and its citizens from all manner of threats by any means necessary. Hidden from the view of the public -- and even from the President -- there is a top secret agent who is trained and ready to serve, deployed only at the careful discretion of the Vice President. This is Agent X.
