Here's a new 30-second spot for Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle's upcoming biopic "Steve Jobs," which tells the story of the iconic tech mogul who co-founded Apple and revolutionized the personal computer.

The drama will follow Jobs (played by Michael Fassbender) during three major events in his career when he introduced the world to the Macintosh in 1984, the NeXT software in 1988 (which eventually became Apple's OS operating system), and the iMac in 1998.

The film based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling book "Steve Jobs," and adapted by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network). The cast also includes Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Sarah Snook.

"Steve Jobs" is due to hit theaters on October 9th.

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
