In Mexico, riding shotgun takes on a whole new meaning, as you can tell in this new film clip, titled "Bridge," from the upcoming action-thriller "Sicario," starring Emily Blunt as a newly-appointed FBI task force member assigned to take down the drug cartel that is flooding the US with illegal narcotics.

Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro plays the trained assassin "Alejandro" who is hired by the team's leader (Josh Brolin) to use his off-the-wall tactics to help the FBI capture a Mexican drug lord. Also available online is a new Featurette on Blunt's character "Kate Macer,” who soon finds out that she maybe in way over her head by doing things by the book.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Enemy, Incendies), and also co-starring Jeffrey Donovan, Jon Bernthal, Victor Garber, and Raoul Trujillo. "Sicario" opens in select theaters starting on September 18th, and expands wider on September 25th.

In Mexico, SICARIO means hitman. -- In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, an idealistic FBI agent (Emily Blunt) is enlisted by an elite government task force official (Josh Brolin) to aid in the escalating war against drugs. Led by an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past (Benicio Del Toro), the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.
