Carrying the title "The Greatest Chess Player of All Time" can put a lot of pressure on anyone, especially American chess legend Bobby Fischer, who is played by Tobey Maguire in the new biopic "Pawn Sacrifice." Check out a behind-the-scenes featurette on the new film which relives the explosive drama surrounding Fischer's famous 1972 championship match up against Soviet chess grandmaster Boris Spassky (played by Liev Schreiber).

Directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai, Legends of the Fall, Glory) from a script by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises), the film also co-stars Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, Lily Rabe and Robin Weigert.

"Pawn Sacrifice" is set to open in theaters on September 18th.

In a gripping true story set during the height of the Cold War, American chess prodigy Bobby Fischer (Tobey Maguire) finds himself caught between two superpowers when he challenges the Soviet Empire. Also starring Liev Schreiber and Peter Sarsgaard, Pawn Sacrifice chronicles Fischer's terrifying struggles with genius and madness, and the rise and fall of a kid from Brooklyn who captured the imagination of the world.
