Fantastic Four — New Trailer

added: Tue, Jul 14th '15

The upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot will not only feature a decidedly younger cast (Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell ). But, according to the film's latest trailer, it will also show Reed Richards' origins from his early, awkward days as a scientifically gifted boy genius. Naturally, we see Reed's mediocre teacher scoffing at his dream ambition of being the "first person to teleport himself."

The upcoming superhero movie, directed by "Chronicle" helmer Josh Trank, will also feature the team's classic nemesis, Dr. Doom (played by British actor Toby Kebbell). In this version, Doom, aka Victor Domashev, starts out as a member of Reed's five-person crew of inter-dimensional space-traveling scientists. A mishap in space causes the four to become ... eh, "fantastic" while Victor turns into a charred mess of anger and hate. Raw deal.

"Fantastic Four" co-stars Tim Blake Nelson and Reg E. Cathey and will open everywhere on August 7th.

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
