Warner Bros trotted out their prized superhero properties today at Comic-Con and released this brand-new action-packed trailer for director Zack Snyder's hotly-anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which of course stars Henry Cavill returning as the Man of Steel and Ben Affleck as an angry Bruce Wayne and even angrier Batman.

The new preview, which further explains Batman's burning hatred for the flying boy scout, also offers viewers the first glimpses of Wonder Woman ("Fast and Furious 6" star Gal Gadot) and Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) who perhaps has provided our new favorite quotable line: "the red capes are coming."

Plus there are new scenes with Jeremy Irons as Batman's loyal butler Alfred and Holly Hunter as a shifty U.S. Senator. And we think that's "Watchmen" star Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Bruce Wayne's father in a flashback sequence.

Also starring Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, "Batman v Superman" is set to open next year, March 25, 2016.

From director Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) comes "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," starring Oscar winner Ben Affleck (Argo) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters' first big-screen pairing.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
