London Has Fallen — Teaser Trailer

Well, they may have survived the deadly assault on the White House, but Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) and U.S. President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) can't seem to outrun their rotten luck as they once again find themselves caught in a terrorist attack -- this time, in London.

The first trailer for the upcoming "London Has Fallen," the inevitable sequel to the 2013 blockbuster "Olympus Has Fallen," has been released, and it shows Butler and Eckhart reprising their characters for one more hyper-violent spectacle, which sees Agent Banning and President Asher traveling to London for the funeral of the British Prime Minister, only to discover terrorists have targeted the event for a large-scale attack.

Babak Najafi, the director of the Swedish crime hit "Easy Money II: Hard to Kill," is directing the movie, which will also star Morgan Freeman, Radha Mitchell, Angela Bassett, Robert Forster, Charlotte Riley and Jackie Earle Haley.

"London Has Fallen" is set to open in theaters early next year.

The sequel to the worldwide smash hit Olympus Has Fallen begins in London, where the British Prime Minister has passed away under mysterious circumstances. His funeral is a must-attend event for leaders of the western world. But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders, devastate every known landmark in the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. Only three people have any hope of stopping it: the President of the United States, his formidable secret service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.
