During Friday night's airing of the original "Jurassic Park" movie on NBC, actor Chris Pratt made an appearance during one of the commercial breaks and introduced this brand-new preview for "Jurassic World," which shows off a bit of new footage from the long-awaited fourth installment of the dinosaur-action franchise.

New scenes include a scary sequence where Bryce Dallas Howard's two nephews (played by Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins) are sitting in a sphere-shaped vehicle, getting a really close look at a couple of armadillo-like dinosaurs until an uninvited guest arrives and ruins their fun.

The film, which is directed by Colin Trevorrow, sees Pratt as a heroic dinosaur wrangler who must stop a new genetically-altered, "bigger than a T-Rex" beast when it breaks free and starts communicating with other dinosaurs.

"Jurassic World" is on track to make a killing at the box office this summer. It opens next Friday, June 12th.

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
