Fans who are dying to get a behind-the-scenes peek at the new "Star Wars" movie may want to pick up the latest June issue of Vanity Fair as the magazine will publish a cover story on director J. J. Abrams' highly anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Featuring an exclusive on-the-set photo shoot by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz and in-depth interviews with Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, a digital version of the Vanity Fair issue will be available this week, Thursday, May 7th. While physical copies are scheduled to hit newsstands on Tuesday, May 12th.

To promote the must-have issue, Vanity Fair has released a pretty nifty 45-second video, featuring snippets of Leibovitz's cover shoot with stars Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Chewbacca. It also offers quick glimpses of Adam Driver dressed in character and Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong'o wearing a motion capture suit and covered in motion-tracking dots.
