During her hosting duties on Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, Universal aired a 60-second TV spot for Amy Shumer's upcoming movie "Trainwreck" featuring new footage from her hotly anticipated feature film screenwriting debut. Check it out above in case you missed it.

Heavily based on Schumer's dating life, the film is a comedy about a magazine writer (Schumer) who is assigned to write an article on a rising sports doctor named Aaron (played by Bill Hader). The couple soon starts dating, but Amy's constant fear of commitment seems to be driving their prosperous relationship to an inevitable breakdown.

"Trainwreck" is produced and directed by Judd Apatow, and also stars Brie Larson, Tilda Swinton, Colin Quinn, John Cena, Marisa Tomei, and LeBron James. It's set to open in theaters on July 17th.

Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo—enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment—but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of the new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be on to something.
