Last year, best-selling author John Green saw his mega-successful cancer love story "The Fault in Our Stars" turned into a major summer blockbuster. So, expectations are certainly high for "Paper Towns," the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Green's 2008 coming-of-age novel about a teen boy and his lifelong crush on his elusive next door neighbor that develops into a wild night of foolery when she runs away.

The just-released first trailer for the romantic dramedy -- in which Green serves as an executive producer -- sees rising actor Nat Wolff (who co-starred as the blind best friend in "The Fault in Our Stars") as Quentin "Q" Jacobsen, the love-sick protagonist who is taught some life lessons about love and friendship after an all-night road trip. As for the role of Q's secret valentine, the enigmatic Margo Roth Spiegelman, Green went with English fashion model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina), who makes her leading-lady debut.

Screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (500 Days of Summer), who penned the adapted screenplay for "Fault," were again responsible for turning Green's novel into a movie script. While Jake Schreier, the director of 2012's quirky sci-fi caper "Robot & Frank," took on directing duties for the film.

"Paper Towns" is due out this summer, opening on July 24th.
