The 30-second Super Bowl spot for the forthcoming "Terminator Genisys" has been released, and it promises that "everything's changed," including Sarah Connor's past timeline and Arnold Schwarzenegger's hair. Although, Arnold's famous "I'll be back" catchphrase is still very much intact; that's not going anywhere.

The fifth entry in "The Terminator" franchise plays around with James Cameron's original 1984 storyline, in which Sarah Connor (Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke), the soon-to-be mother of future human resistance leader John Connor (this time, played by "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" star Jason Clarke), isn't exactly the same woman we remembered.

From a young age, Sarah has been raised by a T-800 cyborg (Schwarzenegger) who, apparently, taught her everything about the future and how to defend herself -- guns included. So when Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney, who takes on the role originated by Michael Biehn) is sent back to 1984, he's shocked to learn that Sarah isn't a defenseless valley girl, but is now a kick-ass desperado with a gray-haired Terminator as her sidekick. Confused? Yeah, so are we.

"Terminator Genisys" opens this summer, on July 1st.

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John's fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when Tech-Com spies reveal a new plot by Skynet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.

On the verge of winning the war against Skynet, Connor sends his trusted lieutenant Kyle Reese back through time to save his mother's life and ensure his own existence. But what he finds on the other side is like nothing he ever expected. After being orphaned at age 9 by a Terminator, Sarah Connor has since been brought up by another Terminator Model 101 programmed to protect her. This Terminator has then trained her to face her destiny, which she adamantly tries to reject.
