AMC's Better Call Saul: Season 1 — Official Trailer

added: Mon, Dec 22nd '14

After a series of teasers and sneak peeks, AMC has finally unveiled the two official 30-second trailers for the "Breaking Bad" spin-off-slash-prequel series "Better Call Saul," starring Bob Odenkirk as Albuquerque's most slimiest criminal lawyer Saul Goodman.

The show, which also stars comedian Michael McKean, Patrick Fabian, and "Breaking Bad" regular Jonathan Banks, is set six years prior to Saul's first encounter with chemistry-teacher-turned-meth kingpin Walter White. It's the days when Saul was still going by his real name, Jimmy McGill, and was still struggling to make ends meat.

Executive produced by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, "Better Call Saul" launches a two-night premiere on Sunday, February 8th with the second episode airing on Monday, February 9th. The rest of the season will subsequently air on Monday nights.

Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."
