Clothes don't make the person. But a gaudy outfit, a prosthetic nose, an impressive set of choppers and some oversize eye-wear can mean everything to an actor. Watch Tilda Swinton go from distinguished thespian to snaggletoothed fascist leader in this newly-released behind-the-scenes clip from director Bong Joon-ho's much-acclaimed post-apocalyptic thriller "Snowpiercer."

Swinton's name is being thrown around as a possible Oscar contender for Best Supporting Actress. While the film, which opened to rave reviews in the summer and is currently available on Netflix and Blu-ray, is gaining some traction after getting named Best Picture by online Boston critics. A dark horse for this year's Oscars? Yup, don't count them out.

A failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.
