Black Mirror: Christmas Special — Trailer

added: Thu, Dec 4th '14

Like all popular British television shows these days, "Black Mirror," an acclaimed Twilight Zone-esque anthology series about the dark side of technology, has a Christmas special. And it seems the 90-minute, one-off episode, slated to premiere in the UK on December 16th, stars none other than "Mad Men" star and professed "Black Mirror" super-fan Jon Hamm. You can now check out the newly-released trailer for the upcoming special, above.

Also starring English actor Rafe Spall (Prometheus, Life of Pi), the "White Christmas" episode imagines a world where someone can "block" an actual person from their lives -- much like "unfriending" a person on Facebook, or "unfollowing" someone on Twitter.

The first two seasons of the Charlie Brooker-created sci-fi series (six episodes total) are currently available on Netflix. While the upcoming "Black Mirror: Christmas Special" will debut in the States on DirectTV's audience channel, December 25th.

A chilling feature-length seasonal special of the critically-acclaimed drama series, starring Jon Hamm, Rafe Spall and Oona Chaplin. Three interwoven stories brim with near-future madness.
