Before his untimely death in August, the late, great Robin Williams had completed a couple of films, two of which are coming out this holiday season: the blockbuster sequel "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" (on December 19th) and the dysfunctional family comedy "A Merry Friggin' Christmas" (on November 7th), which has received its first trailer. Watch it, above.

Starring alongside Joel McHale, Lauren Graham, Candice Bergen and Clark Duke, Williams play a mean-spirited grinch, who feuds with his estranged son (McHale) when a family Christmas visit turns into a not-so-holy night. Fire accidents, missing Christmas presents, power tools, shotgun pellets, and a drunken Santa Claus, all make for one unbelievable yuletide blast.

Veteran TV director Tristram Shapeero (Community, Childrens Hospital) helms the film, which also co-stars Oliver Platt, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Tim Heidecker. The film hits both theaters and VOD on November 7th.

Boyd and his family are forced to spend a dreaded Christmas at his parent's house with his eccentric father that he has been avoiding for years. When he realizes that he left his son's gifts at home, Boyd and his father must hit the road in a blizzard to retrieve the gifts before sunrise to save Christmas.
