The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story — Trailer

"Time out!" If you loved a particular Saturday morning show about a blonde valley kid with a brick-sized cell phone who could freeze time, then you'll probably want to check out this cheesetastic trailer for the new Lifetime movie, "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story."

What makes it "unauthorized?" You would think it's the implausible scene where Screech punches and gives a young fan a bloody nose after yelling at the top of his lungs, "I'm not Screech!" But apparently this cable movie, which takes a warts-and-all look at the backstage antics during the production of the 1990s, cult young-teen series, is partially inspired by Dustin Diamond's 2009 memoir "Behind the Bell." Though, the tell-all book has raised questions over its accuracy.

Directed by Jason Lapeyre (co-helmer of the acclaimed make-believe, kid combat drama "I Declare War"), "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" is set to premiere on Lifetime on Labor Day, Monday September 1st.

"The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" delves into the experiences of six unknown young actors placed into the Hollywood spotlight, exposing the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen.
