Fresh from Comic Con, a new red band trailer for "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" is out, displaying an eye full of "killer babes" that populate the "rotten town" of Basin City; it's a crime-ridden place that "soils everybody."

The upcoming neo-noir thriller, from directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, is, of course, their long-awaited sequel to the 2005 cult hit, based on Miller's black-and-white crime comic books. Both Rodriguez and Miller were at Comic Con this past weekend to promote the star-studded film, which translates two story lines from Miller's comics with two new ones written just for the screen.

The directors had said they're already talking about making a third "Sin City" film, but warns that "A Dame to Kill For" will have to make money in order for the studio to green-light the third installment. "So you'd better show up for number two, or they won't pay for it," Miller was reported to have said to the convention crowd.

Starring Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Rosario Dawson, Powers Boothe, and Bruce Willis (just to name a few), "A Dame to Kill For" wiggles its way into theaters next month, August 22nd.

Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller's visually stunning "Sin City" graphic novels back to the screen in SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Weaving together two of Miller's classic stories with new tales, the town's most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is the follow up to Rodriguez and Miller's 2005 groundbreaking film, FRANK MILLER'S SIN CITY.
