Noah — The 'Creation' Sequence

added: Mon, May 12th '14

One of the most visually engaging sequences from Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic "Noah" has surfaced online. The "Creation" sequence delivers the maverick director's cinematic interpretation of the origins of the universe, in which Russell Crowe's Noah narrates. Evoking a time-lapse-like sensation, the scene starts from the inception of life on Earth, to the bright fluorescent appearances of Adam and Eve, and ends with the negative consequences that resulted from eating the forbidden fruit

A passion project since childhood, "Noah" is not only the biggest film Aronofsky has ever done, but also his most profitable (approx. $338 mil worldwide). The film is currently playing in theaters. Though, with a wave of summer movies on the horizon, its theatrical run is certainly coming to a stop.

Russell Crowe stars as Noah in the film inspired by the epic story of courage, sacrifice and hope.
