The Fault in Our Stars — Film Clip (It's a Metaphor)

They may have played siblings in the dystopian thriller "Divergent," but Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort are reuniting on screen as soul mates in director Josh Boone's (Stuck in Love) upcoming romantic drama "The Fault In Our Stars."

Based on author John Green's best-seller, Woodley plays Hazel Lancaster, a sixteen-year-old cancer patient who falls in love with the charismatic cancer survivor, Augustus Waters (Elgort), whom she meets at her cancer support group. But things don't exactly start so smoothly, as the film's first clip shows. Watch as Hazel strikes up a conversation with Augustus, gets disgusted because he's carrying an "unlit" cigarette and then gets taught a metaphor about facing your fears ... or perhaps, in this case, facing death.

"The Fault In Our Stars" opens June 6th.

Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Gus (Ansel Elgort) are two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them -- and us -- on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, based upon the number-one bestselling novel by John Green, explores the funny, thrilling and tragic business of being alive and in love.
