Anyone living in the UK who wants to see the small screen version of the Coen Brothers' "Fargo" won't have to wait too long to catch it on the telly. Just five days after it premieres in the States, UK's Channel 4 begins airing the 10-episode limited series on Sunday, April 20th. The network has recently released an international trailer, featuring some new glimpses of the sad-sack insurance salesman character, Lester Nygaard (played by English actor Martin Freeman; speaking with a full-on Minnesotan accent).

The off-kilter crime series follows a couple of questionable characters, but Freeman's Lester is a bit more fascinating than most as he seems to be a complete pushover, until one day he reaches a certain point where he snaps and causes a major snafu. Not helping is Billy Bob Thornton as Lorne Malvo, a real sleazy dirtbag who happily throws more fuel on Lester's fire. "Fargo" is set to premiere in the US on Tuesday, April 15th on the FX network, but if you want a small peek at the nefarious side of "Minnesota nice," watch the above clip.

An original adaptation of the Academy Award-winning feature film, Fargo features an all-new "true crime" story and follows a new case and new characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and "Minnesota nice" that made the film an enduring classic. Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton stars as "Lorne Malvo," a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman "Lester Nygaard," played by BAFTA Award-winner and Emmy-nominated Martin Freeman. Colin Hanks plays Duluth Police Deputy "Gus Grimly," a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer. Allison Tolman also stars as "Molly Solverson," an ambitious Bemidji deputy.
