Shaun the Sheep: Movie — Teaser Trailer

added: Fri, Apr 4th '14

It's not slated to hit theaters until spring of 2015, but Aardman Animations, the British stop-motion maestros behind "Chicken Run" and "Wallace & Gromit," have released an early teaser trailer for their latest animated offering "Shaun the Sheep: The Movie."

Based on the "Wallace & Gromit" spin-off children's series, "Shaun the Sheep" is making the jump to the big screen for the very first time in an all-new adventure, in which the crafty farm animal makes a surprise trip to the big city.

Screenwriters Mark Burton and Richard Starzack are handling the directing duties while Aardman founder Peter Lord is just serving as the film's producer.

Shaun is a sheep who doesn't follow the flock -- in fact, he leads them into all sorts of scrapes and scraps, turning peace in the valley into mayhem in the meadow. When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.
