The new 90-second international trailer for the upcoming "Godzilla" movie continues to obscure the towering lizard monster with a thick blanket of smoke and wreckage, but there's a couple of new snippets of footage that mostly shows Bryan Cranston in severe panic mode.

The "Breaking Bad" star plays a scientist who suspects the recent string of natural disasters aren't the act of God, but rather the handiwork of a God-ZILLA. And after growling "I am not crazy," we see Cranston standing in a small room that's filled with news clippings and maps. He continues in the clip, "Whatever it is that they're guarding so carefully, I need to be able to prove that it's REAL." And oh boy, the proof comes flooding in as it seems nothing -- not even jet fighters, armed forces or the wise words of Ken Watanabe -- can stop the great behemoth from mindlessly bulldozing into civilization.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass) also gets a bit of screen time in the new preview, as he plays Cranston's military son who is married to Elizabeth Olsen's character.

"Godzilla," which is directed by former VFX artist-turned-filmmaker Gareth Edwards (2010's Monsters), opens on May 16th

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
