The Wolf of Wall Street — Featurette: ft. Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar-nominated Performance

added: Tue, Feb 18th '14

Will he finally win an Oscar? That's the question many movie fans are asking about Leonardo DiCaprio's balls-out performance in director Martin Scorsese's blockbuster "The Wolf of Wall Street." An achievement that demanded the now five-time Oscar nominated actor to tap into an outrageous range of emotions -- not to mention those dance moves (Hey! Will we ever see Leo breakdance and ingest Quaaludes on screen again? Probably not, unless he signs up to star in the big-screen version of "What's Happening.")

And while Matthew McConaughey might currently have the momentum, Warner Bros ain't giving up so soon. The studio has released a new 2-minute featurette that shows off Leo's "ferocious" portrayal of wall street scammer Jordan Belfort, in all its wolfish glory. And it reminds viewers that this might be the last time we'll see Leo completely unrestrained. Have a look, above.

Jordan Belfort, a Long Island penny stockbroker, served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration.
