HBO's Game of Thrones: Season 4 — New Trailer (Vengeance)

added: Sun, Feb 16th '14

It was just last week when we got an extended 12-minute featurette for Game of Thrones' upcoming Season 4. And now HBO has released yet another full-length trailer for the new GoT season.

Not that we're complaining, but all these jaw-dropping previews have gotten us charged up as we're forced to wait with baited breath. But then again, this new trailer -- set to the cover tune of "Cities in Dust" by Siouxsie and the Banshees -- is warning viewers that when the fantasy drama returns in April you can expect to see the kings and queens of Westeros more concern about the blindside actions of the "Red Wedding" than the impending dangers of the White Walkers. Now, that is definitely something to "ooohhh oh" about.

"Game of Thrones: Season 4" premieres on Sunday, April 6th

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men ... all will play the "Game of Thrones."

starring   Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Jack Gleeson, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Maisie Williams, Charles Dance, and more

release date   April 6, 2014 (on HBO)
