The LEGO Movie — New Trailer (Man of Plastic)

added: Sat, Feb 1st '14

Although it set to open nationwide this Friday, it seems a new superhero-inspired trailer has been released for the hotly-anticipated toy adventure-comedy "The LEGO Movie," which focuses on the Superman-like journey of a seemingly average LEGO construction worker (voiced by Chris Pratt) who's been put in a position to save his LEGO world from an evil overlord named President Business (Will Ferrell).

When the world is in desperate need for a hero, they will call on a man of steel ... err, a "man of plastic" to save them. "Do you feel me?!"

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), "The LEGO Movie" will also feature the voices of Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and a snarky Channing Tatum as Superman. It opens Feb 7th.

The first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO adventure: The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
