The Wolf of Wall Street — Full-Length Trailer

Martin Scorsese is known for creating dynamic worlds where questionable characters run amok. His latest effort, the off-kilter financial dramedy "The Wolf of Wall Street" starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey as a bunch of swindling-yet-filthy-rich stockbrokers, is definitely no exception.

Now slapped with a new theatrical release date (Christmas Day, December 25th) -- which is giving Scorsese and his longtime editor, Thelma Schoonmaker, enough time to finish the movie, comes a brand new full-length trailer that offers another look at the debaucherous career of Jordan Belfort (DiCaprio), the real-life megalomaniac who spent the 90s launching a shady brokerage firm (aka "the greatest company in the world!"), where he cheerfully manipulated the stock market, making boatloads of cash with his fellow partners (Hill and McConaughey).

Written by Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter, the film is based on Belfort's acclaimed 2008 memoir of the same name, which depicted his unbelievable story from "multimillionaire at 26 to federal convict at 36." The movie also stars Jon Bernthal, Margot Robbie, Rob Reiner and Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler as a persistent federal agent investigating Belfort and his money-laundering accomplices.

Jordan Belfort, a Long Island penny stockbroker, served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration.
