FOX's Almost Human — Extended Scene

Does FOX have a winner on their hands with J.H. Wyman's (Fringe) new series "Almost Human"? Well, certainly, the futuristic cop show -- which revolves around the newly-minted partnership between a standoffish detective (Karl Urban) and a hypersensitive android (Michael Ealy) -- appears to have all the elements in place to make a good science-fiction yarn.

But for those still on the fence, the network dropped this extended 8-minute clip from the upcoming pilot, which was directed by Brad Anderson (The Call, The Machinist). The preview introduces Urban's hard-boiled cop character, John Kennex, who's on his first day back after a surprise ambush, and is given no other choice but to team up with a robotic partner -- suffice it to say, it doesn't work out.

The first two episodes of "Almost Human" will premiere on a special two-night event, starting on Sunday, Nov. 17, and ending on Monday, Nov. 18. From then on, it starts airing on Monday nights.

ALMOST HUMAN is a high-tech, high-stakes action drama set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. An unlikely partnership is forged when a part-machine cop (Karl Urban) is forced to pair with a part-human robot (Michael Ealy) as they fight crime and investigate a deeper cover-up in a futuristic new world.
