Terry Gilliam is back with, naturally, an eye-catching dystopian fantasy flick called "The Zero Theorem." And now there's a newly-released film clip, which gives us an early look at the futuristic world that was created by the visionary director who brought us Brazil and Twelve Monkeys.

The film, which premieres in Venice Film Festival and screens in Toronto this month, follows a severely-private computer whiz (played by Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz) who is constantly bombarded with surroundings that are crammed with obnoxious advertisements and an oddball cast of co-workers and supervisors as he attempts to break the most baffling code ever -- the meaning of life.

"The Zero Theorem," which co-stars Matt Damon, Melanie Thierry, David Thewlis, Ben Whishaw, Tilda Swinton and Rupert Friend, is currently looking for a US distributor.

The Zero Theorem is a sci-fi movie directed by Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) that features a socially inept computer genius who delves into a perplexing project to discover the very purpose of existence itself. The Management at the computer genius' organisation continually interfere with his project and formulate a plan involving a love interest that may actually provide the very thing he was looking for in the first place.
