The LEGO Movie — International Teaser Trailer

added: Wed, Jun 19th '13

Shortly after the domestic preview arrived online, an alternate international teaser trailer has now popped up for the new toy-based 3D film "The LEGO Movie," starring Chris Pratt as Emmet, an ordinary construction figurine that gets chosen by a wise wizard (voiced by Morgan Freeman) to go on a mission to save their LEGO world from a wicked tyrant, who's planning to wage war on their peaceful planet. This international trailer (embedded above) is shorter length and starts off similar to the domestic version, but has some quick glimpses of additional scenes, plus an alternate ending. Check it out, above.

"The LEGO Movie" is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the team behind "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," and is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 7th, 2014.

The first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO adventure: The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
