added: Mon, May 20th '13

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has released a Red-Band trailer for his directorial debut "The Kings of Summer", which tells the coming-of-age story about three teenage boys (played by Nick Robinson, Moises Arias, and Gabriel Basso) who grow tired of their everyday life living under the same roof as their parents, and decide to build a makeshift treehouse over the summer. Everything seems to be going as well as can be expected with the boys, that is until a seductive young girl arrives and uses her power of the female persuasion to break the bond of the three kings.

"The Kings of Summer" co-stars Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Alison Brie, and Mary Lynn Rajskub. The film is set to open in theaters on May 31st.

THE KINGS OF SUMMER is a unique coming-of-age comedy about three teenage friends – Joe (Nick Robinson), Patrick (Gabriel Basso) and the eccentric and unpredictable Biaggio (Moises Arias) - who, in the ultimate act of independence, decide to spend their summer building a house in the woods and living off the land. Free from their parents’ rules, their idyllic summer quickly becomes a test of friendship as each boy learns to appreciate the fact that family - whether it is the one you’re born into or the one you create – is something you can't run away from.
