HBO's Game Of Thrones — Season 3: Trailer (Extended Version)

added: Sun, Mar 3rd '13

With all the new exciting storylines expected to intertwine in the next season of HBO's "Game of Thrones," 60 seconds is hardly enough time to give fans a taste of what's to come. So thank heavens, HBO dropped this 90-second preview for Thrones' third season, offering us what is essentially a 30-second longer version of the previously-released trailer. Not that we're complaining -- Hell No! Any chance to see amazonian warrior Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) drawing swords with a chain-shackled Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is good enough for us. And what's the deal with the bear? No one told us about bear fights. Dragons, yes. A bear ... hmm interesting (stroking beard in deep thought).

The bloody carnage begins when HBO debuts "Season 3" on March 31st.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men ... all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'
