Upside Down — Trailer

What goes up, must come down. Well, maybe not all the time. Definitely not in this trailer for the wildly-imaginative sci-fi drama "Upside Down," which stars Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst as two star-crossed lovers living in, quite literally, parallel lives. It appears fresh-faced Argentinian filmmaker Juan Diego Solanas has created a mind-blowing universe where two twin worlds are separated by a strange magnetic gravitational pull that keeps either side from connecting, which seems to be inspired by Christopher Nolan's "Inception," or Alex Proyas' "Dark City," or even that Lauryn Hill music video.

But can true love blossom when the person you have fallen for lives upside down in a forbidden world where there's supposed to be no contact, whatsoever? It looks like we'll have to wait for the answer when "Upside Down" opens in theaters on March 15th. But until then, to quote Casey Kasem, "keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars."

Adam (Jim Sturgess) is an ordinary guy in an extraordinary universe. He lives humbly trying to make ends meet, but his romantic spirit holds on to the memory of a girl he met once upon a time from another world, an inverted affluent world with its own gravity, directly above but beyond reach… a girl named Eden (Kirsten Dunst). Their childhood flirtation becomes an impossible love. But when he catches a glimpse of grown up Eden on television, nothing will get in the way of getting her back… not even the laws of science.
