Well, he's not exactly dancing in this one. However, Oscar-winning actor Jean Dujardin (The Artist) can be seen smoothly tiptoeing around in this full-length international trailer for his upcoming espionage thriller "Mobius." Playing a multilingual spy who's tracking a corrupt banking tycoon (played by Tim Roth), the French actor shares the screen with Belgium-born actress Cecile De France (Hereafter), who plays a financial trader who agrees to be an undercover informant. The problem is, her inexperience in the spy game has not only put herself in danger, but the whole mission in jeopardy as well.
Written and directed by Eric Rochant, the Monaco-set thriller looks to have more twists and turns than a French braid. And though Dujardin has dropped his comedic chops for Cary Grant-type coolness, the movie appears to be a top-notch thrill ride. Unfortunately, this one is only set to hit theaters in France in February. But with any luck, the film might be able to sneak its way into the States later in the year.
Gregory Lyubov (Jean Dujardin) is an intelligence officer who's sent to Monaco to investigate the actions of a powerful businessman (Tim Roth). As part of the mission, his team recruits Alice (Cecile De France), a gifted finance / bank trader who will be working as an undercover agent. But when Gregory starts getting romantically involve with Alice, the investigation slips into a downfall of betrayal and deceit.
