Guillermo del Toro introduces the 3-min. short film "Mamá" which inspired him to produce a full-length feature film with the film's creators Andres and Barbara Muschietti. Both films feature two little girls being haunted by a demonic ghost-like creature that goes by the name Mama. In the feature film, Jessica Chastain (who sports a goth look) stars as the girls newly adopted mother and has no intention of giving up her girls so easy.
"Mama" is set to open in theaters on January 18th.

Guillermo del Toro presents Mama, a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. When they are rescued years later and begin a new life, they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night.
