added: Thu, Dec 20th '12

While she is prepping for her swan song on the set of "30 Rock," Tina Fey is keeping busy starring in her latest comedy, "Admission." Here, she plays Portia Nathan, an admissions officer fighting for a higher position at Princeton University, but goes on a routine stop at a unique college-bound alternative school, and finds a former college classmate (Paul Rudd) who is in charge of this laid-back commune. While scouting the grounds, she encounters a strange student that sparks an eerie feeling that he may just be her teenage son she had given up for adoption years ago.

"Admission" is directed by Paul Weitz (About a Boy, In Good Company) and is set to open in theaters on March 8th.

Admission is about the surprising detours we encounter on the road to happiness. Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Tina Fey) is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Paul Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted -- but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.
