Intersection — International Trailer

added: Thu, Dec 13th '12

Sometimes honeymoons don't always go as planned. Especially ones that require long car trips through the desert. In this international trailer for "Intersection," the new thriller from writer-director David Marconi, Frank Grillo (The Grey, Warrior) and Jaimie Alexander (Thor, The Last Stand) play a newly-married American couple traveling through Morocco on their honeymoon. Things go askew, when their jeep is sideswiped by a passing car, causing a pretty nasty multi-car pileup in the middle of nowhere. Now stranded alone, they are forced to rely on the help of an odd mix of strangers, which includes a handcuffed diamond smuggler (Moussa Maaskri), a mysterious woman (Marie-Josee Croze) with a baby and a pistol-wielding wanderer (Roschdy Zem).

Marconi, best known as the screenwriter of Tony Scott's 1998 thriller "Enemy of the State," teamed up with Luc Besson's Paris-based movie company EuropaCorp to produce the film. So far, there's no official US released date, though it opens in France at the end of January.

Frank Grillo and Jaimie Alexander star as a rich and beautiful couple on their honeymoon in Morocco. After escaping a deadly multi-car pileup at a desert intersection, the group of survivors -- including a wanted smuggler, an undercover cop, a kidnapper, a baby and an unconscious Australian -- embark on a journey of deceit and revelation that culminates in a Tangiers souk.
