Like a cloaking device on a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, details of J.J. Abrams' highly-anticipated Star Trek sequel have been kept tightly under wraps and away from prying eyes. But today, we finally get to see a look at the upcoming movie -- albeit, it's a small, but awesome peek. So without further ado, behold the exciting 60-second teaser trailer for "Star Trek into Darkness," featuring Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the crew of the Enterprise in a battle with a mysterious new villain (Benedict Cumberbatch).
We should note, this is simply an announcement that a full-version trailer will debut online on December 17th. The movie, itself, opens next summer in May.
