Before you can say, "Donde estan los zombies?" "[REC 4]: Apocalypse," the fourth (and supposedly final) installment of the mega popular Spanish-language horror franchise, will be right in your face, scaring the pants off of you. However, you don't have to wait until next year to get your jollies off, you can watch the movie's teaser trailer, which features plenty of blood-soaked entrails and virus-induced mayhem.
Yeah, okay. So what if this preview is simply a spoiled-filled recap of the first two films? It does indicate that director Jaume Balaguero -- who's back at the helm after stepping down and letting co-creator Paco Plaza oversee the last one -- is returning to the original storyline and further expanding the events that happened in the second film. It'll be interesting to see how this story unfolds.
Angela Vidal, the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.
