Paul Tanter is a London-based filmmaker that has so far built his career making small British gangster movies. With his latest outing "The Fall of the Essex Boys" (set to open in the UK in February), Tanter continues his crime streak, this time offering a gritty look at the real-life mob syndicate that infamously rose (and ultimately declined) during the mid 90s. The movie, itself, is again an indie production featuring a cast of relatively unknown British actors, but the trailer definitely packs a punch. So, if you love watching a bunch of mean-looking English hooligans blasting a few shotguns, then what are you waiting for? Take a look, above.
In the tradition of RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER and BONDED BY BLOOD, this film follows the rise and violent fall of the notorious Essex Boys, one of the most feared criminal gangs in Britain's history. For the first time the real story is revealed in this film -- the drugs, the violence and of course the murders. The real story is the most shocking of all.
